This Metaproducs thing sounds like a piece of spyware that's trying to interfere with your sounds. Unless you really need it and use it, get it out of there if you can with your add/remove programs option under your control panel.

This program is not spiwhere but a program that downloads files faster than internet explorer. To turn it off you will need to go into the download express options and go to the integration tab, the go to the check box that says monitor clicks with hot-key only and check it. You will need to uncheck it next time you want to use it.
It is a great program though it does have it's buggs.
And it's especially useful if you want to download files of thezone or any other site that plays files in windows.
I use it mainly for downloading audio profiles.

Alternatively you can go into the options, to the intergration tab and find the edit field in there. Arrow round until you find MP3 and just delete it. Then tab to okay and it will never ask to download MP3 files again.

I use Free Download Manager and have that same problem of it wanting to download the mp3 files, though this only happens when I'm using Mozilla Firefox. If I go on the zone with Internet Explorer, it plays the sounds through Windows and doesn't ask to download them. I guess I could uncheck the monitoring options and just manually copy links to download... hmm...

I use a little program called URL Helper. I am able to get all the audio URL's, including hidden streams. Then, I copy them to the clipboard, and plop them in notepad and save that file. I then use fresh download from fresh devices to open the URL list, and download them all at once.

I'm still having problems with Free Download Manager. I tried unchecking Browser Monitoring and restarting the browser but it still comes up wanting to download the anagram mp3 sounds when I play anagrams, it's very annoying, especially since it comes up with two dialog boxes!

Oh yeah, I've used those download accellerator things. They're great when you want to use them, but sometimes I either disable them if I can find hte control, else I just uninstall them until I need them again.

Glad to hear it sir. Also I did forget to mention that, if at any point you wish to have Download express catch an MP3 file for you, you only need to go and type the file extention back into that edit field and it will pick them up again.

All sounds and audio profiles you encounter while on the zone are stored in your browser's cache.
